More Memorable  Moments

with Allen

Remember the Good Times

Who is that masked man?

To some, Sitting in school every day may seem like a waste of time but punching a time clock for the rest of your life is no road trip either.

The best part about punching in every day is punching out when the shift is over..

Early to Bed, Early to Rise..

Allen was taking pictures of his co-workers.  This is Richard.   Allen later called him "Little Richard"    Yeah Right!

Needless to say,  Lunch time was always  filled with laughter ..

Remember saying......   What?

Wow!  Check out that guy's coffee cup.

I never took a lunch in over two years but soon decided it was best to sit with the guys so Allen would take the time to eat. Wrong!!!   He didn't need me there.   If anything, he ate less when I was there because we were always laughing...

Look who had the place mat and the 'Big' lunch pail. His mom must feed him good..

 "Bill!   It's Time!!! "

One of our jobs was to pick up the recycle materials within the companies.   Thanks to Allen, my time was cut in half.   This allowed us to work on my other projects within the company..

The best part about driving between the buildings was the extra time we had to chat.     I found Allen to be a person with high standards and very goal oriented.

When I was busy doing invoices or checking mail, Allen was very interested in how I made the company and personal web sites.    Computers always seemed to fascinate him.  He showed an interest in my many programs.  I was amazed by how fast he would catch on to what I was doing

Ok!   He also taught this old dog some new tricks...  Goes to prove that one is never too old to learn..

Remember......   " What if? "

Another one of our jobs was to load all the cardboard into several trailers..   It took us several days in all that heat but with the help of a lot of water we made it.

One of us had a major concern about their uneven tan..

I wonder who...

Even with the heat, driving a fork truck was the fun  part of the job. At least for one of us...One of us was trying to out work the other or race. One of us was outside and the other was on the dock loading the trailers. Needless to say, it was mighty hot in those trailers...Trust me...I know!!

Just one more and we'll do lunch...  Yeah Right!!    Once he started, he wouldn't get off the truck until the trailer was loaded...

It was a lot of hard work and our efforts showed..   My house smelled like BenGay...
